Outer Forearm (bakat palmok)

 

The outer forearm is used for both attack and defence. Blocking should be done at an oblique angle (neither parallel nor at right angles to a specified or implied line) to avoid breaking or fracturing the Ulna bone.

 

Methods of blocking with the Outer Forearm include:

  • Side
  • Rising
  • W-shape
  • Low
  • Front
  • Side Front
  • Low front
  • Downward
  • Waist
